Sarah and Dan were married this past summer at The Starting Gate at GreatHorse Golf Club. This premier event venue has breathtaking views and inspired décor. In addition to a dazzling chandeliered grand ballroom, The Starting Gate offers an expansive deck, unrivaled sunsets, and a picturesque wedding garden. We were able to head outside for a couple minutes at sunset to get a few pictures and capture the stunning views. This is one of my favorite new wedding venues on the cusp of Western MA and Central MA.
What I liked most about the venue was the stone chimney in the ballroom that reminded me of a medieval castle. Sarah and Dan are also big fans of Game of Thrones and the stonework couldn’t have been more perfect. In fact, their wedding weekend was the season premiere. We were all excited to watch it that Sunday. Now back to the wedding. I met up with Sarah at the wedding venue for some final getting ready moments and headed down to the wedding garden gazebo for the first look and the family and bridal party formal photos.
