Marie and Chris’s winter wedding at the Publick House Historic Inn

Marie and Chris were married at the Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge, MA on a lovely January winter’s day.  There was just enough snow on the ground to cover a few inches, just before the North East got hit with the record amounts of snow.  I started the day with Marie and the girls up in the Bridal Suite.  Chris and Marie headed outside for a first look to insure we got in some outdoor photos while it was still light out.  We walked around the property and took some portraits of the two of them and some outdoor photos of the bridal party as well.  The beautiful white rose and pine cone floral arrangements were created by wedding florist Michelle Bernard.  The indoor ceremony was held in Paige Hall.  After the very short ceremony we took a few family photos with the christmas tree and Marie and Chris enjoyed spending some time with their guests during cocktail hour in the barn.  Then we were back in Paige Hall for toasts and a surprise performance by Marie’s dad.  He took guitar lessons just so he could sing and play a special country song for Marie.  It was moving performance and not a dry eye in site.  Brian Nicks DJ got the party going.  Here are a few of my favorite images from the day, there are quite a few favorite moments.
