Adam’s sister did the make-up for Kathleen, Mom and future Mother-in-law.
Kathleen watching Adam waiting out by the gazebo for her to come out for their first look. Her expression says it all!
Kathleen’s dad seeing her all dressed in a beautiful button-up gown from The Wedding Dress in Portland, CT.
Purple and green seem to be very popular colors for my couples this year. The beautiful bouquets and table settings were created by Floral Designer Leah Miner – Its So Ranunculus flower shop in Marlboro, CT.
Due to the sunset time for a fall wedding, they opted to do a “First Look”, so we had lots of time to get the family formals done before the indoor wedding ceremony. We also had lots of time to roam around the wedding venue property and get some great bride and groom couple shots.
For the first look, typically we would have the groom’s back turned away as the bride walks up and taps him on the shoulder to get that reaction, but Kathleen wanted him to be able to see her walking toward him as if she was walking down an isle, as you can see from the following images, Adam couldn’t wait for her to walk all the way to him, so he met her half-way, so sweet!
Love the purple shoes.
We snuck out during the cocktail hour to get a few dusk shots with my new Just Married sign I picked up from Etsy.
Some of the purple and Green reception details with a hippo theme. Kathleen made the candy corn pillow boxes.
I love this first dance photo, it looks like she is floating in the air.
DJ David Trimmer from Dynamic Sounds Unlimited got the party started! This little guy couldn’t wait to boogie down.
