I had the pleasure of photographing Jing and Danny’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency in beautiful Newport, RI at the end of August. We started out at Jing’s parents home. In traditional Chinese fashion, the groom (with the help of his groomsmen) had to play some games to be able to see his new bride. There was a lot of fun and laughing, he eventually got to see his bride for a first look. We took a few family portraits in the yard and then headed out to Newport for the outdoor ceremony in front of the light house overlooking the harbor, and had the reception outdoors under the pavilion. Their cute dog even dressed up and joined us for the celebration. The weather was strange that day, we didn’t get rain, but we had lots of fog roll in during dinner time, but cleared up towards the end of the night.
