Kaara & Sarah were married at Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA. They had what OSV dubbed as the “shot gun wedding” ceremony on the front steps of Thompson Bank. The reception was held in the Bullard Tavern. Since the outdoor wedding ceremony took place at dusk, they opted to have a first look. The covered bridge made an ideal location for them to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. They had lots of great details for their wedding from the monogramed pumpkins, Jenga guestbook, candy bar to the signature Root Beer Martini drink. They chose pink and orange as their wedding colors. Both colors were very meaningful to them. They wanted to raise awareness for two charities that were close to their hearts, Breast Cancer and Leukemia. Here are lots of my favorite images from the day.
Kaara’s something blue was a piece of her grandfathers tie that was sown into her dress along with his ring.
