Engagement session Ocean Beach New London CT
And now a little break from the wedding posts. Love. Love. Love this Ocean Beach Engagement session. Gorgeous couple. They will be getting married next summer at the Belle Mer owned by longwood events in Newport, RI. We had good weather and great light at the “golden hour” before sunset on a warm August evening. The session was scheduled for the day before but the rain had other plans for us. This was the friday before hurricane Irene. There were a couple of photography sessions going on that evening, a trash the dress session and another couple session. I had so many favorites from this session, so without further ado….
Tower Hill Botanic Garden Engagement Session, West Boylston, MA
We headed over to Tower Hill Botanic Garden in West Boylston for Heather and Joshua’s engagement session last week. Joshua is home on leave. Due to the pouring rain, we used the Orangerie and the new Limonaia winter garden. What a great place to go for winter engagement sessions to escape the cold. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in November. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.
Melanie and Karen, Engagement session, Greenhill Park, Worcester, MA
I met Melanie and Karen at Greenhill Park in Worcester last month for their engagement photography session. They were a little nervous, but as you can tell they were naturals. They are a fun couple and I am looking forward to photographing their wedding at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in March. Here are a couple of my favorites.
Stephanie & Jon Engagement session @ Portland Head Lighthouse in ME
Leeann (from I DO VIDEO) and I drove up to Portland Head Lighthouse in Maine to photograph Stephanie and Jon’s engagement session. Leeann was taking some video footage of our session to use in a promo video she is creating for me for my website so prospective clients can get an idea of who I am and how I work with my couples. Stay tuned in the next month or so to see the final product. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. If anyone would like to add video to a wedding collection, we can combine our services for convenience.
We had a beautiful sunny day and the place is amazing. Fort Williams Park offered lots of different areas for photo opportunities. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day. Looking forward to their wedding on 10/10/10.
Jen & Shawn’s Engagement Session @ Leicester Reservoir
A few weeks ago I got together with Jen & Shawn for their engagement session at the Leicester Reservoir. That is the first time I had been there. The fall colors were beautiful and we caught them just at the end of their peak. The light turned absolutely gorgeous as we headed toward sunset. “The Golden Hour”. These are a few of my favorites from the session. You may recognize them from Tara & Bill’s wedding that I posted recently. Their wedding is next August.
Tara & Bill Engagement Session, Greenhill Park, Worcester, MA
Sunday I met up with Tara & Bill for their engagement session at Greenhill Park in Worcester. Tara is very creative and talented and made some cute parasols that she wanted to use in some images. I love when couples bring their ideas to me, it makes my job easier. Here are a couple images from the day. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in October. It is at the same location as Julie & Joel’s wedding which I shot this past saturday, I will be blogging some images from that wedding in the next few days.
Michael & Catie’s Engagement Session, Moore State Park, Paxton, MA
Michael & Catie came up from MD to have their engagement photos done last week. We decided on Moore State Park. It was my first time shooting there. It was a pretty location and a beautiful summer day. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in February! Here are a few of my favorite images from the session.
