About me… I am a fairly easy going woman who loves my family, photography, art, chocolate, the outdoors, hiking, nature, the ocean, live music (eclectic styles from classical to heavy metal), art/cult/independent/sci-fi/fantasy films. I am a Taurus. I have had an appreciation for art since a young age. I took photography in high school and received my BFA in photography from the Massachusetts College of Art. While at Mass Art, I really enjoyed exploring other art mediums as well. One of my jobs in college was as a security guard for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where I could spend hours looking at and studying the various paintings through-out the galleries. I was particularly drawn to Dutch realism and the painters use of lighting. Using the other side of my brain, I also had a long career as an accountant.
Weddings: my style is documentary in nature. I like to be unobtrusive and capture events as they unfold naturally and add a fine-art element to capturing all the little details that make your wedding unique.
Portraits: my style is also documentary when it comes to family portraits. My approach is to capture my subjects, whether children or adults, in their natural surroundings to get the most honest representation of their personalities I can capture. My shoots happen at locations of your choosing, whether it’s your home, yard, park, beach or your favorite place to chill.
