We started off the day at Heather’s parents home for getting ready shots and some outdoor portraits of the bridesmaids and family while Laura Pineda, my second shooter, started with the guys over at the commons in front of the church for groomsmen portraits and his family formals. Heather & Josh were married at First Congregational Church in West Brookfield, MA on 11/11/11 on veterans day. Josh is active military and had just arrived back to the states for the wedding, so they hadn’t seen each other for awhile. After the ceremony we headed over to Zukas Hilltop Barn just in time for sunset and we were able to get all the bridal party and couple portraits done outside before it got dark. We headed indoors for the family formals. Always a concern at that time of year, especially after day light savings. When planning your wedding, if you want outdoor portraits, make sure you look at the sunset times for your wedding date. The cute pink bride teddy bears from Build a bear workshop were given as gifts to her two cousins who were flower girls, so cute. There is also a photograph of the custom guest book we created using images from their engagement session I photographed last spring at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden in West Boylston. A great winter location for garden-like engagement photos. Without further ado here are a bunch of my favorites from this wedding. It was so hard narrowing it down.
